Complete Electrical Refurbishment
Contracted by Darnell Construction Ltd to carry out a complete refurbishment of this domestic property: design to the customer’s specific requirements (with interior and exterior lighting design by a specialist lighting designer), specification of fitments, and installation of fully functional power, lighting, AV and data systems, plus an automatic gate with rising bollard and video access.

Contracted by Darnell Construction Ltd to carry out a complete refurbishment of this domestic property: design to the customer’s specific requirements (with interior and exterior lighting design by a specialist lighting designer), specification of fitments, and installation of fully functional power, lighting, AV and data systems, plus an automatic gate with rising bollard and video access.
What we did
- Exterior landscape lighting installed to a third party design, with a Lutron HomeWorks system controlling interior and exterior lighting, heating and AV, and remote access over the internet.
- A fully wired Cat 6 data system with full WiFi coverage, and an LED low energy lighting system throughout: recessed trimless downlights, in floor uplights, cabinetry illumination and speciality chandeliers, all to the lighting designer’s scheme.
- AV wiring including satellite and TV distribution, TV wall brackets, ceiling speakers and audio equipment. Control wiring for the mechanical services with Heatmiser Neo stats for the underfloor heating, connected to the Lutron HomeWorks system for remote control of everything.
- An intruder alarm with monitoring, electric gate operating gear and controls, rising bollard and video entry system, a mains distribution system covering the main and ancillary buildings, small power using Forbes & Lomax accessories, and fire detection using Nest detectors.
